The Weekend started Thursday

Well.... there was no college for me last Thursday, as my mum and I headed to London on the train to Kings Cross. We were staying in The Custom House Hotel just down from Canary Wharf, lovely hotel, freaky space age pod-like showers though :) The thing is it is the most simple on routes and guess what we manage to get lost! TWICE! Still we made good time, though rather tired... this was proved by my lack of awareness when I left the suitcase trailing behind at a leisurely pace and managed to get it trapped in the revolving doors :/ fun times as the receptionists held back giggles whilst telling me to push as the door jams... all I can say was I didn't the the massive signs say "Automatic Doors Beware". As mum and I walked into the room in fit laughter we then saw Ho Lee Chinese restauraunt, with amazing tropical fish and starlike lights in the celing, there was no discussion we were going there for dinner :) mmm and it was yummy.
